Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combos I've tested. Its base station has an impressive water tank and dust bin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to cause tangles in hair than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping excels in avoiding obstacles. It can also stop the cleaning process and resume from where it began.

After each cleaning session, the dirty water tank will also be emptied automatically.

It provides advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule. For example you can select a specific start and end time for each cycle or whether it should vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to increase suction around pet litter and food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks at the touch of a button for example, cleaning the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush when it detects wet areas and remove debris from the edges and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and operate, with an easy-to-use and user-friendly app and a wide range of features. It is quieter than many corded vacuums and only occasional low hums of its motor, and occasional bursts of suction during cleaning. The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping thanks to the internal dToF system. It can keep an unobtrusive appearance while providing excellent detection of objects. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. It also raises the mop automatically when driving on short-pile carpets. However, it struggled in the presence of carpets with a longer pile and also some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to be used right straight out of the box and it requires only a quick mapping run to get to know your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can add or join rooms as necessary. You can also set up virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't wish the robot vacuums with mop to touch certain objects.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that exerts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to mop and vacuum makes it an ideal option for homes with floors of both types, but its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning product (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than some other robots that allow you to make your own cleaning solutions.
